The Jefferson Graveyard Show is a 12-minute, Disney-quality, creepy animatronics Halloween show with characters that move, talk, and sing. The show contains music, sound, lighting, and smoke effects and has been entertaining children and adults since 1997 in the Chicago suburbs. The show was created by two brothers–two of them; Robert and Steve Veach. Robert is a former electrical engineer and created all the life-sized, moving and talking characters by hand. He designed the custom electronics circuitry and wiring as well as all the servo-controls and pneumatics that bring the show to life. Robert is a talented special effects prop creator and created all the custom latex masks and props for the show, some of them using real human parts! Steve Veach, a computer expert, musician, audio engineer, and entrepreneur contributed the audio engineering, sound effects, and music. Fellow musician Steve Serpe composed the songs in the show. The entire show is automated and controlled by a single audio CD that contains the music, voices, sound effects, and control signals for the ghouls, lighting, and smoke.
