Gateway’s Haunted Playhouse has astounding automation, a brand new horrifying theme and over 100 professional actors and staff. Come see Long Island’s oldest professional theater transformed into a labyrinth that was rated one of America’s Best Haunted Attractions by Hauntworld Magazine. While you wait to enter, enjoy our beer garden, take a coffin ride, or shoot some zombies in our latest midway attraction. We’re located in Bellport, NY (a short train ride from NYC).

The Midway is the central hub of the haunt where you can eat, drink or take a ride in our Coffin attraction as well as shoot some zombies in our new Zombie Shooting Gallery. You also never know what ghastly creatures might appear to give you a little startle before you enter.

We are open 7pm to 10pm with extended hours on Friday and Saturday nights and Halloween.

Cost:
Tickets bought online are $30 for General Admission & $40 for a Fast Pass. At the door, Tickets are $35 General Admission & $45 for a Fast Pass.

Age range:
Due to the scary themes and graphic nature of our haunted house, we don’t recommend bringing anyone under the age of 12 to our haunted house. Anyone younger than 12 must be accompanied by an adult. We offer a Not-So-Scary house on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4pm which is a great time for families!

Exit 56 Station Road south to South Country Road.
Left on South Country Road for 1/2 mile, Haunted Playhouse on your left.

Exit 44 Sunrise Highway East.

From Long Island Expressway (I-495)
Exit 62 South - Route 97 (Nichols Road)
Go 5 miles to Route 27 East (Sunrise Highway)
Go 5 miles to Exit 56 South Station Road
Go 2 miles to South Country Road.
Make a Left on South Country Road - go 1/2 mile, Haunted Playhouse on your left.

Special events:
"Not-So Scary" Adventure for kids

Saturday and Sundays in October (noon to 4pm), our Midway becomes a family-friendly event featuring food, fun, and games. Our Haunted Playhouse is transformed in to a “not so scary” walk through, featuring a fun up-beat kid-friendly story. Fun characters and candy will be found along the way!

Family Fun For All! Come one come all, mini witches and warlocks, mini pumpkins and cats, mini monsters and fairies, mini superheroes and bats. Take a stroll through our not-so-scary Halloween adventure, specially redecorated for kids of all ages. Encounter goofy creatures, bewitching tricks, and make some new friends along the way. Swap the chills and thrills of the oh-so-scary for the giggles and squeals of the not-so-scary! Family-friendly tunes complete the atmosphere… there’s even a treat at the end. Debut this year’s costume, if you’d like, and show everyone just how spooky and grim or valiant and prim you can be!

$15 tickets* includes walk-thru, pumpkin bouncer, face painting, balloon creations, hay bale maze, coloring activities, and more. Refreshments and snacks are available for purchase. No outside food and drinks are permitted.

Recommended for children ages 3 and up and those who might not be ready for Gateway’s Haunted Playhouse at night. Absolutely no newborns, infants, or pregnant women. No strollers, carriages, or baby carriers of any kind are permitted inside the tour. This is strictly for the safety of you and your child! There are areas in our midway where children under 3 can be accompanied by an adult without incurring an entrance fee. Please make arrangements in advance.
